Despite what Pitchfork says, I’m looking forward to this show (although yes, the lyrics to ‘Gasoline’ are, well, just skip that song). I think the album is just good catchy fun. And check the letter to pitchfork from the band at cause=time.

Hey guys, this show has been canceled because the singer for Airborne is sick. BUT, Henry Clay People are playing a FREE show at the Larimer Lounge tonight, along with DJ sets by Paper Bird and Bela Karoli!

I’ve been hearing about cancellation of this show for like 24 hours now, but none of the websites—the Bluebird’s, the band’s MySpace, their official site—say anything about it. So, like… WTF? Proof?

I heard it was cancelled on the radio… Right after they played an ATE song.

hey patrick. i talked to the band mgr, and it is indeed canceled as far as every indication i’ve heard. ATE = sick. henry clay people are, incidentally, looking for some amps and a drumkit though for their show tonight, since they were using airborne’s equipment. if anyone in the community wants to help them rock out tonight, it would be much appreciated.

We just heard from the promoter that this show is indeed cancelled but that it is rescheduled for 4/15 and will be moved to the Ogden. This is just for Airborne Toxic Event, not sure about support on the new date.

awww! I will be in NYC for the 15th. :-(

Just got word that there’s going to be some super-secret special unnaounced musical guests tonight at the Larimer… :)
