Bio

The Assembly is a music video festival by and for filmmakers. In this internet based age where most videos live only on the web, we feel it’s important for music video directors to actually feel/hear/taste/touch an audience’s response to their work and to revel in the glory/upset and opportunity for growth within the realm of competition. By providing a venue, we hope to encourage community, collaboration, and creative elevation.

The festival invites Colorado musicians and directors to submit original music videos for consideration. Videos selected to screen at the festival will be judged by a panel of local filmmakers. The Top 3 videos will be awarded prizes and an Audience Choice award will be chosen by ballot at the event.
