Fueled by narcissism and a need for reaffirmation and groupies, frontman Jeff Sollohub sought out an environment where his self-centeredness could thrive; A place where he would be safe from pesky little voices of closeted self-loathing. Meanwhile, guitarist Tim Beattie was looking for a legitimate reason to quit his job, drink beer and perfect the power slide. Drummer Charlie Meyer just wanted an excuse to take his shirt off in front of the ladies. Seeing that all their needs and desires could be realized if they joined forces, the mighty triumvirate was thus formed. The combination of these three brave modern day heralds was not unlike the exponential, mysterious power of the pyramid. Actually, Jeff can occassionally melt a face or two,Tim likes picking and grinning, and Charlie is not without rhythm. And of course, they love playing together.
