Bio

born from a late-night jam in a dormitory lounge in late 2004, matt and joe z! started building a friendship. the funny thing about it is that nothing really came of it musically for a good while. eventually, joe wrote a song and played it for matt. before joe even finished playing the song, matt had developed a lead guitar line to it, and was even meddling with a vocal harmony. at that point, they agreed to start making music.

in the fall of 2007, they decided to try touring the following spring after graduation. joe bought a van named clifford, and they set off in june 2008. since then, they’ve met amazing stories, benevolent people, and have experienced a truly privileged life. touring has afforded them the opportunity to see the country as very few people have…and it’s only the beginning! chris drummed with us for 8 months and toured once.

matt and chris decided to leave the group to pursue another musical project and moved to denver. joe is still carrying the leftmore torch and wants to play EVERYWHERE, so tell me where to come play!
