Bio

Joshua Williams aka Jericho Son of none (emcee, producer, dj) originally from DFW, TX now based in Denver, CO is best known for his work as lead emcee in Denver based hip hop group called Educated Figures which was also comprised of Xperiment, and Dj Notch from 2004-2009. Since the beginning Sonofnone has been a message based emcee, tackling all subjects from current music, religion, and government, to spirituality, life, and human struggle. Since he himself came from a background that is more than rough around the edges, he feels a responsibility to reveal a different lifestyle, and meaning of life to those coming from a similar background through smooth word connection, jazzy beats, and positive vibes. Son of none has had the opportunity to open for such acts as: The Beatnuts, Akrobatik, Playdough, Lifesavas, Lyrics Born, Braille, Prozak Turner, Sage Francis, Zion I, L.A. Symphony, Pep Love & Casual of Hieroglyphics, Pharoahe Monch, Jeru the Damaja, Grouch N’Eligh of Living Legends, C-rayz Walz, Strange Fruit Project, and The Visionaries. He has also had the privilage to play at some of Colorado’s premiere venues, and take multiple out-of-state tours, and work with sponsors such as; Monster Energy, Boardpusher.com, Truthandrights.com, NeverSummer, Oakley, Akomplice, Neff, & Skull Candy to name a few.
