Hearts of Palm started out as a duo in Denver, CO by Nathan McGarvey and Stephen Till a considerably long time ago…

It wasn’t until January 2006 when word got around that a ‘pop orchestra’ was being assembled in Denver by both Nathan and Stephen. By February of 06, the band Nathan and Stephen (now Hearts of Palm) held their first official band practice with a strong seven members. After playing their first show in June of 06, they acquired another guitarist and a saxophone player making the band a diversified pop orchestra nonet. The nine piece band released a five-song E.P. (The Everyone E.P.) in February of 07 at the Gothic. Nathan and Stephen changed their name to Hearts of Palm in January of 08 and released a four-song E.P., (The Bridge E.P.) in March of 08 and are currently working hard on a full length album.
