El Rancho Vegas

El Rancho Vegas

EL RANCHO VEGAS (BAND) – Named after the first and most prestigious resort on the Las Vegas Strip. El Rancho Vegas was the premier hotel, nightclub, and casino in the world between 1941 and 1960. Some of the stars showcased there included Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Guy Lombardo, Milton Berle, Pearl Bailey, the famous stripper Lili St.Cyr, Rudy Valle, Betty Grable, and Frank Sinatra. El Rancho Vegas, the band, brings the same history and originality as the original star-studded showplace. Playing big band, jazzy, swing music in the style of the Rat Pack, Nat King Cole, and Bobby Darin, the trio plays a great mixture of originals and classic tunes. The Denver-based band is Megan Love – a.k.a. Megan Wise (Buckwild, Hillbilly Hellcats, Vibes on Velvet) on drums and vocals, Jimmie Amoré – a.k.a. Jim Dalton (Railbenders, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Hickman-Dalton Gang) on lead vocals and guitars, and Lance Romance – a.k.a. Lance Bakemeyer (Mustang Lightning, Hillbilly Hellcats, the Calf Branders) on stand-up bass and vocals.
