One day a child was born and his father held him up to the sky and said “behold the only thing greater than yourself” that child was Dragon E. His Journey began in the lower Eastside of Denver where he met the Tripps upset about the way DJ Quick dissed his town Dragon E formed the group G/SOM and recorded the hit single “Suicide” the song got such a great response selling over a thousand copies in one week that westword magazine featured the group in an issue “Gang of four”{Michael Roberts} riding the wave of enthusiasm that Denver was giving the group they recorded an EP “Who’s Got My Back”on Tripps Records featuring Kingdom {KS107.5 Radio personalityThis album came out in 93’ and is on youtube being played all over the world.. After inking a deal with SoulTrain founder Dick Griffey on SOLAR Records the Tripps were indicted on federal drug charges and they’re major label deal fell through, however Dragon E never gave up and continued to put out albums with the group G/SOM the follow up G/SOM "Nocturnal " on Concrete Poetry Records garnered local and national success including a lowrider tour and radio play. He also Produced over a hundred local acts including Big Rat “Moving Weight” as seen on B.E.T’s Uncut . He also produced "Street stars “a track by the late Mack Dre and songs for E40 and Mack Dre and Doe{Upset Records}”Yell It OUt " playing on bay area radio with more production credits than we can list i.e.Lunasicc,Kid Frost, Nyke Nitti, Yukmouth. Rappin Fortay,West Coast Mafia to name a few this is his first solo album.all original beats and a new sound for free.
